Horizon Income
Investment Overview
The Horizon Income portfolio is for conservative to moderate investors. This model is designed for investors seeking current income in a lower volatility portfolio with the opportunity for capital appreciation and greater risk-adjusted returns than a traditional passively managed fixed income account. This model trades multi income mutual funds and ETFs in all areas of the multi income market.
Investment Strategy
The goal of the Horizon Income portfolio is to seek growth and income, while striving to outpace the Barclays Capital U.S. Aggregate total Return Bond Index. This model typically contains holding in one or two sectors of the multi income market at any given time, utilizing our Proactive Sector Rotation methodology to rotate sectors on a periodic basis based on perceived opportunities for better returns indicated. Investments rotate among various multi income asset classes including, but not limited to short-, medium-, and long-term bonds, high-yield bonds, corporate bonds, convertible bonds, treasuries, and occasionally international bonds and preferred securities. Holdings remain invested 100% of the time, but can get defensive during market downturns and allocate into defensive areas of the market.
Minimum
There is a $25,000 minimum to open an account in Horizon Income.
