Based in the Tampa Bay area, Steve calls on independent advisors in FL, where he enjoys sharing Howard Capital Management Inc.’s (HCM) unique money management story as well as promoting HCM’s myriad practice-building marketing programs and strategies. A 6th–generation Florida native born and raised in Clearwater, he has been in the financial services arena for over 30 years, with experience in retail, wholesale and institutional sales. He received his CFP® certification in 1994 and has passed the Series 7, 24 and 63 examinations as well as the Florida Life/Health Insurance examination.

Steve is a graduate of Florida State University where he was awarded a full athletic scholarship, and received his Bachelor of Science degree at FSU’s College of Communication. As a 4-year varsity letterman on the Seminoles’ swim team, he earned First-Team All-American honors as a Division 1 NCAA National Championship finalist in the 50-yard freestyle. During his leisure time, Steve enjoys playing electric and acoustic guitar, biking, and continues to workout in the pool on a regular basis.
